DIY COCONUT COFFEE BODY SCRUB

I am super excited to share this DIY with you guys — I made this scrub a few weeks back and have been so obsessed with it I thought I would share it with you all. I adapted this amazing recipe (with a small tweak)  from Free People's blog (which I love & highly recommend.) It is beyond easy and will leave your skin feeling so smooth and hydrated. Made with only 5 natural ingredients, it is so simple & oh so worth trying!

You might be thinking "coffee, really?!?! " but I promise it is the best part. It smells so amazing and used during my morning shower routine it has been the perfect way to wake me up! Not to mention, coffee is rich in antioxidants and acts as an anti-inflammatory.

Also, the caffeine in the coffee draws out excess moisture from your skin, which can help make it look and feel smoother and firmer.

INGREDIENTS
_

1 / 4 cup coconut oil
1 / 2 cup ground coffee
1 / 2 cup coconut palm sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil

_

As far as the ingredients, I got all of mine from Trader Joe's except for the vitamin E oil   that you may have to head to the drugstore (or Target) for. To make this scrub, simply mix all ingredients together in a bowl until well-combined. If your coconut oil is solid, melt it down but let it cool to room temperature before adding to other ingredients. You want the texture to be a bit gritty. Once all mixed, store in an airtight container and enjoy!

Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do, I look forward to hearing what you think about it!
